I was looking for a local Dive shop while in Playa del carmen and became overwhelmed with the amount of options available. Turquesa tours came highly recommended by Malek be prod on Facebook, who also offers amazing underwater photography. After a quick screening, I was promptly messaged by the owner, Lionel, who offered me different options for the dive (Bullshark) I really wanted to do. We agreed on dive details, price, and a small deposit. Lionel provided private transportation to the dive site, and fitted me with top-notch dive gear. I will definitely be a returning customer. !!! Amazing diving school !!!Me and my girlfriend did the bullshark dive with them and everything was perfect. My girlfriend worried about the encounter with the sharks but as they did an amazing job educating and briefing us it was not a problem at all. Our dive instructor Alfonso made sure to stay closer to her during the dive as he knew about her worries. ( as you can see in the video he swam together with her as the sharks were approaching)We saw 9 bullsharks and a mantaray.The equipment is clean and well maintained. The communication was easy an WhatsApp. Their knowledge about the reef, environment and obviously the bullsharks is outstanding. 10/10 would recommend.
