Horrible customer service. You call the general line and then go through the proper prompts to get to the scheduling office and then they hear a voice that isn’t their race and immediately transfer the call without saying anything. Then the line rings and rings and no one answers. Best va clinic I have been to is in Columbus, Ga and Battle Creek, Mi. These people are garbage. No one assists you in making appointment. It is best to walk in and rattle their chain. Completely ignorant help.

As a veteran i always appreciate it when i am able to go to a VA Clinic or VA Hospital that always tries to offer the best service and care to veterans. This particular VA Clinic has helped me immensely in the past and i believr they will continue to offer the same in the future.

Today I felt the worst part of being a vet and going to the VA for help. From the lady that draws blood to the lady that's said she was the va and all complaints had to go through her. Totally disgusted with the ba

The clinic lacks Doctors for the 6000+ veterans in LaredoI have to continuously talk to the Medical Director and Administrative Officer to get something done. Some of the staff are awesome, while others shouldn't work there.Appointments are hit and miss. Depending on who you talk to.The telephone number takes forever to get answered. The gentleman at the front desk is mostly helpful but takes forever to get things done.Definitely not the best experience with the VA.

All personnel are extremely helpful and respectful, except the lady that does the blood work. She is rude and treats patients as charity cases.Obnoxious to put it bluntly.

The clinic is in a better place than it was in 2017/2018. The only provider I've had a problem with recently is the new psychiatrist. I submitted a lengthy complaint with the TVC health advocate, spoke to the MH team director, and she switched me to another psych. The prosthetics team out of Harlingen dropped the ball on my order. They should have provided the business that would give me my equipment payment but failed to do so for a month. I called the Washington Hotline after the patient advocate didn't answer my calls, and they immediately fixed it. The director of prosthetics reached out to me via email to apologize. My healthcare team and psych genuinely care about me. I am no longer rushed or asked to make another appointment to discuss additional or multiple medical issues in one visit.

1) The VA community care department women control when you see a specialist and have more power than your VA physician and the Director of the Laredo clinic. Maria and Yvette are the clerks who never call you to let you know about your appointments. At one point, these incompetent VA women sent me to the wrong doctor in San Antonio. I drove 300 miles and was never reimbursed by cost cutting travel manager/clerks. Now, all community care does is cancel my community care appointments without noticed. The whole community care department and director in charge of them should be FIRED. These people are lazy, incompetent, and rude. Maria raised her voice and we argued last time I talked to her. She needs to go. The Laredo VA clinic is there to serve us and not at their convenience.2) Highly recommend for any veteran to AVOID the LOPC TELEPCP SPOKE pact team and the Laredo VA clinic if possible. Their nurse, Nancy Benavides, will deny any of your medical requests and will not talk to your doctor about your health concerns and medication refills. Nancy is another lazy, incompetent VA nurse. Nancy and the Laredo VA Clinic Director should be FIRED immediately! This Laredo VA clinic should CLOSE. Instead, we should use the VA choice program 100% for the best care available in our surrounding area.

Will leave vets in the cold, thanks the security people for caring more than the medical staff. Called to see if I could do blood work let them know that I had been having coughing from acute bronchitis or persistent cough and was told that coming into get bloodwork would not be an issue. Comes to the area and tells symptoms and gets left in the cold. Came by ride expecting to be seen quick and fast and ended up waiting in the cold talking to people after people with no concern at all. The medical staff continued to mediate with no help at all just saying my concerns where “wishes” to them. Sucks I hope I don’t get even more sick. Make sure to call and speak to the representative of that area for more clarification dont take the word of other locations.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. I have been going to the Laredo OPC for over 10 years now and have always been treated with the highest respect and quality health care. There have been a few times I;ve gone in without an appointment have had to wait a while to see a nurse or Dr, but I have seen one. The nurses are fantastic. Anytime I've asked to see a specialist they approve it. The only negative is the VA seems to have a problem keeping Dr's. And I do miss the lady that used to draw blood for many years, but her replacement are good too. If it were'nt for the VA I'd be dead by now.
