JP Rustic Ranch Campground ⛺
This is a gorgeous, peaceful ranch with beautiful sunsets. If you want a place to relax and getaway from the city life, this is a perfect spot! Nice open areas to pitch a family tent and camp near a wood fire. We were able to see many different types of wild animals and birds! Definitely recommend to bird watchers and/or a camping ground experience!

David's Ranch was the perfect getaway, away from it all, but still only 20 minutes from the city (Harlingen). David's communication was great, he promptly answered the questions we had and gave great instructions on the stay. Will definitely stay again soon.

Hidden Gem! Nestled away from all the noise and chaos of city life, this camp is the perfect getaway. Sit under a mesquite tree and listen to the sound of stillness. It’s so peaceful here. Bird life is amazing and a joy to photograph if that’s your thing. The pond attracts many birds and it’s so relaxing to just watch. The cottage is cozy and very comfortable. All in all 5 stars. Will return again one day.

One of the valleys hidden gems, it’s a home away from home without being too far away. It’s quiet and peaceful, JP Ranch has its own vibe and oasis to it when you arrive. I personally enjoyed camping with my fiancé and getting away from the city life. We camped out play music, cornhole, and just enjoyed the unforgettable memories we were creating. Definitely one of my favorite spots. I would highly recommend booking, you won’t regret it.

Great outdoor experience!!! The ranch is a perfect place to relax with the family. The beautiful lake makes for the perfect sunsets. Waking up to the birds singing is awesome. Definitely enjoyed my time there. Looking forward to my next trip back.
