Baja SUP La Paz

What an amazing experience! I did the mangroves and the Saltito experiences and had the best time with Terri-Lynn and Sergio, they had great equipment were the perfect guides, especially for a beginner like myself. It felt like being with friends! I really enjoyed being away from the motor boats and tourists crowds, these tours are super intimate and you don’t feel like you’re being led around like cattle. The mangroves are so peaceful and beautiful and with the gorgeous sunset it was just a perfect day. On the Saltito experience we were so lucky and got to see a big pod of dolphins and even more amazing a humpback whale breach just in the distance! The sea lions were a treat to see and there were so many jumping rays, it was just an amazing day overall. I can’t wait to go back!

Sergio took me out to teach me how to have better control on my board. He showed me how the tides and wind interact so I will be safe on my board. We ended up in the middle of a dolphin pod! It was an amazing experience!

I really enjoyed the kayak trip to Playa Saltito with Baja SUP. The weather was perfect, the tide was gentle, and the wildlife was plentiful. Terri arranged a ride share for us to get to Saltito with the delightful Anna. Upon arrival, we quickly got into our wetsuits and into the water on our kayaks. We spent three hours paddling, snorkeling, and watching the birds, sea lions, dolphins, rays - and even a whale. Terri and her partner, Sergio, were always nearby, helping and coaching us as we paddled and snorkeled.

We had a great time on the Playa Saltito tour! Terri and Sergio were great guides and companions. I'm really grateful that they introduced us to Saltito beach, what a gem! They also introduced us mobula rays - very entertaining wildlife viewing. They jump way out of the water and belly flop, making a huge clap noise. The sea lions were very fun and playful. The snorkling was also really great. The coral reef their is so vibrant with amazing fish and even sting rays.I highly recommend this tour as a way to get to know the area or just have fun on the water. Jamie and I kayaked but they give you the option of stand up paddling as well. I hope to do their El Mogote tour this coming week.Thanks Terri and Sergio!

Terri & Sergio are awesome! They made an excellent kayak and snorkel experience. Terri explained and showed us all the fish before we went out. It was our son's first snorkel experience and Terri was very patient and helpful easing him into the water. With Sergio near by on a board, it made for a perfect rest and safety spot. Terri took amazing photos and videos too. Highly recommend this amazing couple. Thank you for the memories!

Fue una gran experiencia, Sergio me guió en todo momento y me llevó a conseguir confianza sin darme cuenta súper paciente , amable y calificado. Una experiencia que sin duda volvería a repetir, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Terri and Sergio are a great team - patient, caring teachers and concerned about their SUP boarders and kayakers having a good time and being safe. Terri's first language is English and Sergio's is spanish so communication is easy and clear no matter which language you speak. We did an initial 1 hour out in La Paz bay to make sure we were comfortable on the SUPs. Next time we'll do a longer trip with them. We're looking forward to it. Highly recommend.
