My now-fiancé and I found Luis when we were searching online for a photographer in Cancun for a couples session, which turned into a surprise proposal and engagement session, and I am so happy that we chose him. He is kind, creative, artistic, communicative, professional and made this a seamless process.We fell in love with Luis's online portfolio and how unique and truly artistic his pictures were. He was prompt and thorough throughout the planning process and made stellar recommendations for photo shoot locations and times.During the shoot, Luis really got to know us as individuals and how we interacted as a couple. He made us feel comfortable and at ease. He had so many different creative ideas and made sure to incorporate ideas that we had come up with as well.Communication was so easy with Luis and he kept us updated on when to expect the final pictures. The pictures turned out amazing and we were blown away by how he captured the special moment. A few weeks later, we got the full gallery and a slideshow and everything was perfect! I was lucky to find Luis online on Reddit and didn't realize at a time what a talented and kind photographer I had just met. I was going to Mexico City to propose to my girlfriend at the time, and needed someone to capture the moment. I spoke with Luis over the internet and on the phone and he proposed several unique ideas to me about the location and details for the special moment. Luis has a unique eye, and his suggestions were unlike anything you would read online. We decided on the location and planned meticulously on the details. Luis provides a guideline on what to dress, along with intricate details such as differences in shooting at the evening and morning, so you know his art is top notch.On the day of the shooting, Luis had reserved a special cafe for me and my fiance to have a photoshoot. We were at a quaint bookshop in Mexico City, and Luis was kind and patient throughout. He is a very experimental photographer yet at the same time his photos create a very warm and welcoming environment. He photograph captures the essence of humanity and brings out the world in a vivid and engrossing way. We were at ease throughout the session and when we received our photos, we were blown away. I was looking for a 2-3 hours session with a local photographer in Tulum for a bachelorette and posted a general inquiry on Reddit, where Luis private messaged me and from there we decided to exchange email to discuss further on the details.Given that all photographers have a portfolio where you can explore their styles, my only concern left was if they'd be responsive. Luis is incredibly proactive, prompt, and elaborate with his communications - and our exchange was over a span of 3 months. This, coupled with his education and experience in film, was the reason I decided to go with him. Luis was understanding and accommodated all the changes in our travel plans (I always ensure he'd have the most recent updates). After we agreed on all the details, I paid a deposit when I signed the contract, and although I had the option to pay him in Tulum, I trusted him enough to pay the remaining balance right before my flight out to Tulum. He provided me his Whatsapp number and even checked in when I landed!Our group met up with him and although it was hot, Luis stuck it out with us. He's very kind and friendly! The session was smooth and since we were in no rush in getting the photos, we received the gallery about 2 weeks after the shoot. His work became our favorite memories!!I'm so happy to encounter Luis. Not only I serendipitously found him as our photographer, but I have also gained a friend that I'll be excited to see again every time I visit Mexico. Luis is a professional photographer we found online to help us with our family portraits for our family trip. I am glad we found him! He was patient with the kids and very accommodating. Our initial appointment day got rained out but he was readily available to re book. His easily accessible using what'sapp. My family especially my wife love how the photos turned out. Luis helped us create an enchanting engagement photo experience that captured our aesthetic and the candid nature of our engagement. He was adaptive, communicative, passionate, professional, and made us feel comfortable through the entire process.I contacted Luis the day before I was going to propose in Mexico City and after one phone call we exchanged texts to lock down the exact location of the proposal. My proposal was a secret to my fiancé, so Luis maintained a distance and captured the special moments between us. He perfectly captured the moment I proposed, as well.From there, we began a tour of the Condesa neighborhood where Luis would use the landscape and architecture to capture us in candid and posed moments that were unique and natural to who we are. And he did all of this on the fly!On top of that, he helped us try some of the unique cuisine of an open food market including Tlacoyos.We spent a few weeks adding touching up the photos and delivered us a wonderful set of photos for us to share with our parents and on social media.I can’t say enough good things about Luis. Luis is a relaxed and chill dude who takes pride in his work. He spends whatever time it takes to do a job that he’s proud of. We met him in Mexico City to take a few causal pictures and really got to know him. Our wedding was in Querétaro a few days later and he blended like an old friend. Our friends who had a chance to interact with Luis, loved him and even thought we had known him prior. We had a non traditional ceremony and reception. We asked Luis to shoot as if he was at a social event or reunion, one where he’d capture candid moments and interactions rather than the more formal pictures everyone expects to see. Our album turned out exactly as we hoped, where he captured conversation and moments that we will remember for life and beyond. I consider Luis a friend and hope to see him on future trips to Mexico City.
