On the final phase of all on 4's and so far everything is going well. I start 5/19 and should have final procedure appointment on the 25th. ( I do now have to have 2 root canals on teeth that A1 filled cavities on in June of last year and then rechecked in December. Let's hope that was a simple oversight since I should have returned in March for final phase although the dentist said the longer the implants heal the better, with no mention of the fillings being temporary.) Will update...Day #1 arrived in PlayaDay #2 attempted to expose 9 implants with only regular dental numbing shot. DID NOT HAPPEN could only handle the 1. Scheduled IV sedation for the other 8 (add $500) for tomorrow.Day #3 Implants were fully exposed then abutments and healing caps placed. RestingDay #4 10am appointment. Took scans and adjusted 1 abutment. Done by 10:45am. Next appointment not until Monday afternoon 1pm.Day #5 Resting in room

I had the best experience with A1 Smile Design. I have researched for months to find a good clinic abroad and A1 was one of the most recommended. I have connected with people who went there and decided to start my dental journey myself. The best decision ever. My journey started a year ago with some extractions and bone graft, later 4 implants and at the end all new crowns both top and bottom. My coordinator, Manuel did amazing job arranging all trips, transportation, appointments, and accommodations. He was extremely helpful when my flight was suddenly cancelled, and I had to fly few days later. He re-arranged everything for me and made sure that everything was still completed on time during my trip. I was very impressed with the clinic - equipment, cleanliness and staff professionalism and knowledge. On top of this everyone was very friendly and caring. Two of my doctors that I spent the most time with, Dr. Fernando and Dr. Daniel were just amazing. Generally dental work is not fun, especially when you need to stay there for hours to have the extensive work completed on time. They all made sure I was the most comfortable as I could be through the surgery and the crowns placement. Dr. Daniel is an artist - he completely transformed my smile; he was extremely detailed and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the doctor who did my one root canal, but this was just absolutely painless procedure (I did not know root canal can be painless???). Besides the doctors and assistants, all staff - reception, security, cleaning crew contributed to a great experience. I greatly recommend the clinic! Just returned home yesterday from A1 Smile Design for the second time. The facility is very clean, they have very high tech equipment compared to Canada. I had all crowns and bridges placed and was able to stay in one of their suites. Very convenient to be staying above the dental offices. Everyone was beyond wonderful, it does feel like family when you are there.A special shout out to Jorge who made all my appointments work asap, he is wonderful. Dr. Ernesto who did a root canal on Friday and the tooth feels great today, Tuesday at home. Also Dr. Jonathan and his assistant Dr. Selena (hope the spelling is correct) who did my bridge and some crowns. Both are perfectionists in what they do, like myself lol. Also Janet of course as everyone loves her, she helps guide you as to where to go to find things like a good pharmacy, where to buy food, etc. it really helps.Thank you to everyone that works at A1 for being there for me and being so kind. I would never find the type of dental service you have here in Canada under one roof and certainly not for the same cost.I am hoping A1 will be my dental office if I ever need repairs in the future.

A1 Smile Design from the beginning has provided amazing service and great work. I was referred to them by a friend who received full dental redesign which looked great. I had him setup an appointment for me and my partner.The appointment started on time, and they had a bilingual staff assisting us from the entrance of the build to the front desk. They help me with the free fast Wi-Fi. Very impressed, my time is very important.I entered the room for my teeth cleaning and whitening where I had two doctors; one was bilingual, they both were very nice and explained me their procedures.The facility is immaculate, clean, modern, has hotel rooms for the dental vacation experience too. I saw they provide private transportation from the airport shuttles, scooters and bicycles for their guests. All the amenities unlike any other dental experience.I highly recommend A1 Smile Design!

I was attending my son's wedding on April 9/23 from Canada. I already had an issue with cold sensitivity and decided to see a dentist in Playa del Carmen. They booked me in the day after I called and when I attended the clinic I was told I needed a root canal. The next day I was booked in and I haven't had an issue with that tooth since. The clinic was beautiful with the best technology I have seen. Thank you to everyone who assisted with my dental work and the professionalism that was shown to me. I will be back to get more work done.

A1 Smile design works hard to make sure you receive the best dental care available. They have latest technology, professional staff, clean facility, and work hard to make sure you are happy with the work done there. Jeanette is an amazing concierge. She is generous and helpful. Juan manages the front desk and goes over everything in detail. Most everyone there is either a patient or studying dentistry. You are in good hands.
