I really hate to give bad reviews, especially at a place for healing but I just would like to share my honest experience here so that anyone considering this place has the full picture before they go. I have done these plant ceremonies at an authentic retreat center in Peru before, and this was nothing like that. There is no real shaman present, only some guides, and they were not very professional. They play music from their cell phones during the ceremony, so there is no icaros being sang/played which is very important to guide the energy during a ceremony. The guides were also on their cell phones during much of the night which was distracting. The setting was pretty bad. You are laying on a hard cement floor the whole time in someones house. The bright lights were on in the room and everyone was talking loudly and hanging out before the ceremony, so it did not feel like a sacred space at all. The ceremony also started at least 3hrs late from the scheduled time which really blew my mind and disrespectful to me. During the ceremony, a girl had a psychotic break and was loudly repeating phrases over and over for the entire night and non of the facilitators did anything about it... I felt really bad for her ad it was extremely disturbing to everyone else. The medicine was not very strong compared to what I had in Peru. But I can say that I did get good messages from the medicine and it did work". Other people in the room did not all have the same experience. Some people felt nothing. I would save your money and go to a reputable authentic shaman in Peur. Do your research first! Cheers"
