This was my 1st time at VOGT, we were having a girls day out and what a grand experince it was. They had an awesome array of furniture/accessories, jewelry, crystal, framed artwork....all at an affordable bid/price. OMG it is a MUST to attend.

Bought several items at the recent luxury goods auction- items are well displayed and photographed; estimates are pretty accurate and the atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. Great mimosas!

This auction house is classy. I have only attended two auctions but I was really impressed with the quality of the items that were being auctioned. I won" the three Victorian-like lamps shown in the pictures below for $40 ... $40 for all three! They are so beautiful! I also "won" the oval lyre table ... hope I can locate a matching one for a reasonable price.UPDATE: Made a return visit. This time I "won" a French night stand for $35 and a dark cabinet with an elk on the front for $50. Not sure if I got a great deal on the elk cabinet but I like it."

Like 2 weeks ago my mom & i went to an estate sale that vogt was having in alamo heights, we bought a few things and on the way out we saw a painting, it was priced 150 but i got it for just over 100 bucks. When i was loading it in my car i noticed the stein mart sticker for 59 bucks. I thought about taking it right back (which i should have) but i didnt want to embarass anyone, i textd rob from home and sent him a photo of the stein mart sticker, long story short he agreed to send me back 46 bucks via venmo or cash. But i left to canyon lake i couldnt go back. Well my venmo isnt working, i gave rob my cashapp applepay and fb pay info and he refuses to send me the refund via those platforms, i even showed him i cant use venmo. I been patient.

I contacted Vogt Auction Galleries to sell some art that my grandmother had purchased some time back. The initial contact was good. The company representative told me I would get 75% of the hammer price. Their commission was 25%. (I have the e-mail stating that.). When I received a check, they had deducted 35%. I e-mailed my contact about the error. She quickly replied and told me I would receive a check for the difference. That was 16 days ago. I sent an e-mail yesterday asking about the status (and copied the owner). No reply so far.An update. After writing this review, Rob the owner of Vogt Auction Galleries, reached out and apologized for the mix up. He sent me a refund for the entire commission, which was more than I requested. Thank you, Rob!

I recently acquired two JJ Audubon prints and was curious if they were original lithographs or prints and was interested in auctioning them as well. I came in and spoke with the art appraiser and even though mine are not originals or valuable for that matter they still treated me with respect and were very welcoming to the auction house. I had a great experience and I even looked around a bit and saw some amazing furniture, firearms and cool antique collectibles. I would recommend Vogt auction galleries.

Beautiful furniture & curios. You could get lost in the large selection. My favorite items were the paintings. Great artwork in a variety of styles.
