Hotel Cabañas Aldea Maya

Had a great stay alongside my 3 other friends. The cabin had a great interior and even a small kitchen (good quality pots and pan). Because its located in between all trees it gives an oasis of peace. Owners are friendly and helpful. 10/10 would come again!

This is where you want to stay in Xpujil. Charming, very clean, nestled in the woods. Nicely appointed, with complimentary snacks, fruit and drinks. Off the highway, so quiet.

It's the best place to enjoy nature on your back yard, it's the place I have been able to fully rest wile in Mexico. Not to mention the good coffee they have there!!!I recommend this place to anyone in this area.Rodrigo Curiel

Quede encantadisima con este lugar de primera al entrar, la impresión que te llevas en la habitación es increíble pues considero que es bastante elegante, llegas y el aire buenísimo, cuenta con más que lo suficiente para una estadía de 5 estrellas, la atención es buenísima al igual que los precios dado a la hermosura del lugar, sales a la naturaleza donde hace calor, fuimos a las ruinas serca del lugar y al regresar agotados, regresar a descansar en un lugar super cómodo, no tengo ninguna queja del lugar. Limpieza 100%.

Wonderful place, amazing service! Let me clarify: rather than a usual hotel, Aldea Maya is made of two lodges in a private and secured jungle parcel. The lodges are beautiful, very convenient for families and fully equipped. You are provided with courtesy fruits, coffee, snacks. It's modern and really clean. And you can access laundry facilities if needed. The jungle yard gives you a feeling of evasion and is a good introduction to the Calakmul site. But mostly, the staff (which does not stay on site) is really friendly and helpful. You really feel visiting some friends.

Location location location! This is it! Placed right in the middle of Bacalar (1hr:20min)and kalakmul( 1hr 40 min) A true hidden GEM! In the small town of Xpujil you will find this luxurious cabin that paces you in a almost perfect combination of wilderness and safeness lol it sound Wired but true the tranquility and peace you get from staying here is amazing. It saw to easy to just hang out on the hammock for 2hrs and enjoy the nothingness. Perfect place for the ones looking to chill or adventure. Highly recommended the staff is amazing and well informed about thing to do in the area and extremely willing to make our stay as amazing as possible.The room was amazing clean and fresh beds extremely comfy!

We stayed here for four nights. Moises was a wonderful host, always available by text if we had questions. He even brought us some extra coffee pods upon request; they are special ones brought in by his family from the U.S. Basket of fruit, water, cold beer and pop waiting for us on arrival, everything very professional and very clean, like you'd expect at any good hotel. The cabin is also very bug-proof for anyone who doesn't want to sleep next to creepy crawlies (I don't mind but my friend appreciated it!) The jungle noises are so nice to listen to at night. And it was so refreshing to come back to this place for a shower after long days spent exploring ruins. We'd add a few things like a light over the kitchen counter for evening cooking/eating, bigger cooking knife, maybe a hot plate, more outlets to charge phones, and focus on sustainability and natural ecosystems like asking guests to use water sparingly since it is a region with water issues. These are all minor though and overall we were very happy with our stay and think it's probably one of the best places one can stay in Xpujil. Thank you very much Moises and Luz.
