Doctor Susana Elizabeth Avalon De Dios has been our local physician for the past three years. She is an amazing doctor who is extremely knowledgeable, caring and dedicated to providing high quality medical services to the Bucereas community for nationals and expats.As an expat my husband and I value her as a person who wants to, first and foremost, keep her patients healthy. She takes pride in serving us and genuinely cares about us.When we have needed general medical services or have had medical issues she has been on time, thorough in her work ups, and clear and thorough in communicating her diagnosis, plan of treatment and appropriate followup to us. She works with colleagues in the Bahía Medic Servicios to make referrals for imaging services, specialists and medical laboratory testing. This group is extremely efficient and provides the same high quality medical care as does Dr. Avalon De Dios. Dr. Dios has a farmacia at her practice location and one other farmacia on Estaciones, very convenient for the community she serves.My spouse, Bernie and I highly recommend Dr. Avalon De Dios as the go doctor in Bucereas. She will be happy to consult with you on any medical needs, refer you out appropriately and, follow up on all treatment you receive from her and the Bahía Medical Services Group.Lastly, if you do become I'll andare under her care she provides you her personal emergency number that she or one of her competent staff will answer. Dra Susana is a real gem for la Bahía! Not only does she communicates in English and Spanish, she takes the time to really understand our symptoms and find the smoothest solution available to regain our health!I’m a big fan, I actually waited to fly from Canada and see her as I knew she would be as always; efficient and profesional and would recommend the best treatment available.
