Modern Indian restaurant

I will first start off by saying that I do not eat much Indian food but i was curious to try different things. I was excited to know that an Indian Restaurant would be coming to downtown. I looked over their menu in advance but was surprised when I showed up that you could also pay for a buffet. Oh man was the food good. The atmosphere and the workers were very nice and friendly and treated me like family. I will definitely be coming by again and this time I will bring my friends. The chicken and yellow rice are my favorites now. They also had curry and white rice in the buffet. I would highly recommend.

Food was just not very good. Worst biryani I ever had. Chk was dried out and tough. The raita tasted weird. The samosa was dry as well.

This place is excellent. Friendly environment always :-) and very helpful. It’s great because it’s right in the center of San Antonio and close to major hotels on the Riverwalk I will come back again. Great job guys!

El lugar es de fácil acceso, puedes estacionar muy fácil. Nosotros comimos a la carta. Ya no era hora de Buffet. La comida está muy buen, de verdad desde que entras puedes oler lo delicioso de los platillos. Las personas muy amables. Nosotros somos 3 personas y pedimos 2 platillos y con eso tuvimos. Las porciones son muy grandes. Tienen opciones vegetarianas. Muy muy recomendable. Puedo imaginar que el Buffet es delicioso.

I had an exquisite experience at The Lion Indian cuisine restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant. The staff was so welcoming and attentive, making sure that all of my needs were met from start to finish.And the food! Oh my goodness, the food was simply amazing. All of the dishes were expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a true delight. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive, and everything was served hot and fresh.I highly recommend The Lion Indian cuisine restaurant for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. It is truly worth every penny, and I cannot wait to go back and try more of their delicious menu offerings. Five stars all around!

Went during the lunch buffet and really enjoyed everything. Pretty much filled up on chicken Tikka masala, but several of the available dishes were good.Typically Indian food is very spicy, this was not, which didn't produce the big, vibrant flavors I am used to from Indian food. In the flip side, it gave my kids the opportunity to try everything. Totally ok with that trade-off.Enjoyed quite a bit and I'm sure we'll be bank next time we have a hankering for Indian food.
